Mega Moose in McIvers and Corner Brook, July 20-26

Mega Moose tracks will appear where you least expect them.

Tracking the Mega Moose is a performance that involves the furtive action by artist Colette Urban of marking the ground with a larger-than-life moose-like hoof imprint. These prints will be left in locations at the Full Tilt Creative Centre in McIvers between July 20th-23rd, and along the Corner Brook Stream Trail between July 24th-26th. The Corner Brook Stream Trail in particular was selected because of its natural setting and the high volume of traffic that use this walk way during the summer months.

Mega Moose turns the unsuspecting viewer into a tracker. The exaggerated scale is initially both puzzling and humorous. Join the viewers as they investigate the Mega Moose tracks and share in the whimsy of this extraordinary finding.
